The best photos from Maho Beach

I’ve taken a few pictures at Maho Beach in St. Martin. It is planespotters heaven and the photo opportunities are hard to beat. I actually like a few of the shots I got (including the one in this post) and I’m super excited to take a few more over Thanksgiving break.

But none of mine compare to the stuff Brazilian photographer Daniel Botelho grabbed recently. He manages to mix the scenes above and below the surface spectacularly well. Sure, it took him a month to get it just right. But he did get it right. And that probably wasn’t the worst way to spend a month, I’m betting. There are more in this Daily Mail story.

Yeah, I may need to spend more time there than my schedule allows for on this trip.
