Missed a flight? Just hop in a cab!

That’s what one guy did in Portsmouth, UK.  The catch?  The ride was a 740 mile trek to Munich.

After missing a flight for a friend’s stag night the guy needed to get to Munich as fast as possible.  For some reason it never occurred to him to find a different flight.  Even with walk-up fares it has to be cheaper than a £1,950 (~$3600) taxi ride.  A charter flight probably would’ve been close to that price.

Anyways, no one – and especially not me – ever said travel was rational.
