Any airline can but a bunch of dots on a map. Adding the curved lines which show theoretical flight paths is cute, too. But what about average weather conditions? Or water temperatures for planning that beach getaway? Yeah, JetBlue does like to do things a bit differently than everyone else.
The carrier has updated their Where We Jet page to now include additional features such as the weather metrics described above. There’s also the option to filter destinations based on the type of experience you’re looking for at the destination. Want a getaway from Seattle which offers a beach, good nightlife and a bit of romance? A lot of the lines will disappear off the map, helping you to target the trip planning.
I still find the part where it animates drawing in the lines a bit annoying, but the new filter and forecasting features are pretty cool. Win some, lose some I suppose.

The curved lines make it easier to follow the paths, and are not meant to simulate flight paths.
