Friday Flyday: 9-11 Edition

I will pause briefly today to remember. I am human.

I will call my father today to wish him a Happy Birthday. I’m a son.

I will not be vigilant today. I’m not a vigilante.

I will travel today. I’m a traveler.

I will cringe today, reading of the US3’s efforts to play the National Security card as part of their fight against the ME3 airlines. A most pathetic and misguided move to prey on fear rather than build on facts.

I will work today. News continues to happen and I continue to dig in to the dirt, trying to find the interesting bits.

I will seek out friends, old and new, today. Because that’s the way life should be lived, with celebration and revelry.

And, in the end, I will pause again. I will remember. I have no choice in that. But I absolutely have a choice in how I move forward. I’m choosing the positive path.

  1. Very refreshing to read this post. Thank you. If I read one more post about a first class flight or lounge in one of the travel blogs I will scream.
It seems like you and Gary are the only sensible voices out there.
