What is the future of the aviation passenger experience? Hard to say with 100% certainty but a walk through the APEX Expo floor is a great way to gather some insight and learn what the various in-flight entertainment and connectivity vendors have in store. This year’s show offered up innovation both in the cabin – lots of updates to apps and IFE systems coming soon – and also the operational side of things. Satellites are coming on line and new tools will be available for passengers to take advantage of those innovations. And I spoke to many of those vendors for the latest episode of PaxExTV.
