The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey picked a great time to establish a presence on Twitter. The organization started up their @PANYNJ account yesterday and they’ve been using it to share information related to Sandy. Most of it has been status updates and such, all of which has been interesting. The last couple tweets have been more visual, and more worrisome.

There is also some concern about the integrity of the runways should the surge keep them underwater for any extended period of time. Hopefully that doesn’t become an issue.

I had a similar thought, Larry. They’re all going to be Marine Air Terminals if things get nasty.
