‘Tis the season for airlines and other groups to show off their creativity, generosity and read of the industry with holiday videos. I’ve counted a bunch of airline holiday videos released so far plus a hotel chain, a rail line and a branch of the US military. But that last one is the Air Force and they staged it at the Udvar-Hazy Center so it counts in my book as an #AvGeek event.

I’m casting my vote for big winner with WestJet again this year. Mostly because they really do seem to go out of their way to make sure it is not just a PR stunt but also that they deliver good to people. In this particular case it is spectacular. Some of the rest are OK while others are rather bland. But I’m also curious what y’all think and I’ve got a few holiday gifts of my own to give away to help find out your opinions. Share your views in the comments and maybe you’ll end up with a United Airlines RPU for holiday travel.
So, which is your favorite?
Air Canada
Delta Air Lines
United Airlines

United’s is the winner in my book with Delta at a close 2nd.
I’m going to have to go with Delta on this one. There were actually legitimately funny parts in their video. Kudos to the Delta marketing team.
I liked the Westjet one as well, although the Air Canada and US Airforce ones made me tear up as well.
I enjoyed the WestJet video. They truly helped a community and spread happiness and that, to me, is what Christmas is all about.
I love the air Canada one the most, but of course westjet has the most impact on those in need
I thought United’s video was really lame, and Delta’s was too cheesy. I really liked WestJet’s. I really liked that they went out of their way to get to know an entire community, each of their needs. That had to be a huge endeavor and time/money commitment on the part of the company. I find that noteworthy. The US Air Force video was also great. Loved how it all came together. They’re also excellent musicians. Really really enjoyed it.
