Friday Flyday: Departing Love Field on Virgin America

Back in December I made a last-minute trip to Dallas. Fares were low on the Virgin America non-stop back to LaGuardia so I got to experience the new route, the (relatively) new terminal and take another trip on Virgin America, a carrier I hadn’t been on in some years.

I got to order my drink via RED, which was only a minor annoyance versus talking to the FA who was standing right there asking what I wanted to drink and there was mood lighting.

Mood lighting, though I just opened the window to look outside instead.

There were also some great views at both ends, decent wifi and power at the seat. I chose to not pay for the IFE in favor of getting a bit of work done online.

All in all a solid experience, though not so special that I’d say it is worth specifically booking to get. But definitely reasonable.
