The panic of a typo


No, American Airlines did not change the status qualification requirements for EXP to 120k miles. Fortunately the carrier’s social media team is on top of the situation:

Lots of fun answering the inquiries there. At least this time they know the real answer, unlike when there was suspicion that fuel surcharges were coming on all awards and the group was caught completely off-guard. Then again, that time there was also no change implemented.

They even managed to actually fix the typo quickly, getting the page back to normal super fast. That’s good news all around.

Or are they just testing the waters to see what level of panic would ensue?? Yeah, probably not.
