There is little doubt that Maho Beach, just off the end of the runway at St. Maarten (SXM), is one of the best plane-spotting sites in the world (though I’m willing to hear arguments against). Combine that awesome setting with a KLM 747-400 and a spectacular collection of camera angles and there’s a whole lot of fun to be had.
Quite a bit different from the views I recently had from landing in a Twin Otter there.
That’s pretty great no matter which way you get there.
