Well, more to the point, lots of you have asked me to make the tool account for the “last night free” benefit that card conveys and I’m a nice guy some of the time.
As of this afternoon when you use the Hotel Hustle search engine the rates for Club Carlson properties will calculate the free night benefit as part of the math in determining point value. The points/night results shown will be the average per night assuming the total is spread over the entire stay and the cpp number will be the total cash for all night divided by the lower points number. Here’s an example from a 3-night booking in Copenhagen with the changing numbers highlighted:

So, if you have the Club Carlson credit card simply go to the My Values page in the Hotel Hustle interface and click the button to indicate such (and the button at the bottom to save the settings).

That’s all there is to it!
Let me know if you have any troubles with the results.
I know that Hyatt has a similar 20% rebate thing going on right now but, at least for now, I’m not inclined to track that because it is not a long-term benefit of the card plus it is a rebate, not a decrease in points required for booking.

This is an awesome tool now made even better. Thanks, Seth!
Great stuff, but I keep getting the fail kale.
Thanks for sharing the details on the issues; glad we got them resolved. 🙂
