Mexico City is the latest addition to the JetBlue route map and, like with most new routes, there is a fare sale for the launch. Unlike many other route launches, however, this one has a ton of availability at the lower fares. By which I mean every day for the first month of service.

Flights from Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando to Mexico City launch on 1 October 2015 with evening departures from Florida and early morning flights from Mexico. And $99 intro fares if booked by Tuesday, May 19th. And there are still seats available at the launch prices on every day in October from both FLL and MCO. Check out the Best Fare Finder for more dates.
I’m a big fan of Mexico City based on my trip there last November (see links below) and would love to return. Were I in South Florida this is the sort of fare I’d be all over to make that happen.

I was under the impression that US-MEX flights were pretty limited by bilateral as to who could fly it )old Mexicana for JFK-MEX) AA for ORD, DFW.
I guess the bilateral must have been updated recently.
The bilateral is pretty strict, but there is room for these. It allows for two carriers from each side on any given route AFAIK and B6 has no US competition on either.
