DLD 88: Where we’re going we don’t need roads

It is good when news causes us to learn more about the world, right? This week there are a couple new places which came into the discussion, including Shemya, Alaska, thanks to a diversion by a Cathay Pacific 777 en route from Hong Kong to Los Angeles.

Also being discussed:

  • Spirit is causing tsuris for the other airlines operating in Dallas, though that also is resulting in some great fare sales for passengers
  • Is it time for Fozz to get a new passport? Does Global Entry affect that?
  • BA offered up some interesting (and very generous) comp as part of a bump handling in San Diego.
  • Beeps and lines for security checkpoints remain a confusing and occasionally enraging topic

Enjoy the show!
