A couple weeks ago I was in South America for work and came home via Miami. There is very little good about being awake at 6am but when it is on an airplane there’s a decent chance that sunrise will be part of the experience. And on this trip that was most definitely the case. The time lapse of the sun coming up over South Florida as we made the final approach into Miami was spectacular.
And then there was the onward connection which offered an interesting story of its own, plus a great view of downtown Miami as we departed.
All in all, a pretty nice day to fly.
