Friday Flyday: Dorkfest at LAX and an Atlanta sunset

Leaving LAX on my Delta 737

A couple weeks ago I found myself in Las Vegas and needing to be in Mobile, Alabama 2 days later. Looking to avoid a domestic redeye flight the natural solution was to travel to Los Angeles and go plane spotting with Cranky Flier at the affectionately named DorkFest event. And so I did. These are some of the shots I snagged that day.

And, putting a wrap on the day, a spectacular sunset out the window of my Delta 737 to frame the scene.
