Those bodies of water are actually the Atlantic and Jamaica Bay. Long Island Sound is on the north side of Long Island while JFK is on the south.
Yeah…clearly I screwed that up. I blame the hangover from last night. 😮
That is correct; because the airplane flew directly over where I used to live in Brooklyn. The airplane approached from the south, which means that the Jersey Shore launches the beginning of this time-lapse video.
Great views of the Rockaways, Floyd Bennett Field and the Marine Parkway Bridge; as well as Howard Beach just before landing.
Sandy Hook Bay, Sandy Hook, NY Outer Harbor, Rockaways, Floyd Bennett Field, Carnarsie Approach to JFK 13L.
Nowhere near the Long Island Sound,
Now get one from the other side of the plane too 🙂
Seth like ya blogs just wanna no what u would do im like 50k miles away from becoming a 1 mm flyer on UA is it even really worth it to fly like 2 r/t to SIN and then some lil trip to reach this mark ??? I havent flew UA in over a year with jetblue being so better for domestic and emirates as being my new airline of choice for international travel i mean i love duabi and the free stop over is great all my travels are purely lesiure now so i dont worry about time frames or the shortest way anymore i mean it seems that being a 1 MM flyer w UA is not even worth it i mean i do get premier gold for life but my question is what does prem /gold really give you ??? Thanks
