Want to own a piece of the now-bankrupt AirBerlin? Lufthansa Group, EasyJet and Vueling took over the planes and gates and such but there are still pieces available for those of us who are looking for some decorations rather than launching a new airline operation.

As is often the case in bankruptcies the various assets are being auctioned off to help pay creditors. In this case that means everything from the little chocolate hearts given out at the end of a flight to amenity kits to bar carts and even aircraft seats are on sale.
The sale is being managed by Dechow, an auction house based in Hamburg. Things get started on Monday, January 15, 2018.

Oh, and you have to pick up your winnings at the appointed hour and location or arrange for a freight forwarder to collect and ship them to you. So don’t expect to have a winning bid for some business class plates show up on your door step without a little work on your part.
