United safety video re-ups with US Olympians for new

The 2016 Summer Olympics are quickly approaching and regardless of whether Brazil is ready to host United Airlines is ready to celebrate. Continuing its support of the US Olympic team a new United safety video was just released featuring themes from the Olympics as well as a few US Olympians making cameo appearances.

Seat belts and weight belts are shown interchangeably and, for what I believe is the first time I can recall, when mentioning the ability to change out of an exit row seat the video actually shows such a shift with a flight attendant and soccer/football player changing positions on the field. Putting a life vest on one of the swimmers seems like it might slow her down for the competition, but decent play there.

Overall just another safety video, but mostly solid working the sports into the mix.

Can you spot the llama in this edition? Because it is definitely in there.

  1. I think they copied the idea from middle eastern airlines…the original versions are much nicer and consistent
